We wanted to find a meaningful way to give back to the same communities that continue to trust our team with their homes and electrical needs every day.
More Than Electrical Work
Electrical work is practical by nature. Homeowners call when they need panel upgrades, lighting installation, generator installation, troubleshooting, safety inspections, or electrical repairs. Those services are important, but for our team, the work has always been about more than the projects themselves.
Some of our customers have been calling Lipps Electric for decades. We’ve watched families grow, homes evolve, neighborhoods change, and communities come together over time. Being welcomed into people’s homes is something we never take lightly.
As our business has continued to grow throughout Cincinnati, we started asking ourselves an important question:
“How can we use our business to create a larger positive impact within the communities we already serve?”
That question became the foundation for our Community Giveback Program.
Creating a Program That Actually Helps
There are countless schools, sports teams, nonprofits, youth organizations, and community groups throughout Cincinnati that rely heavily on fundraising and local support. Many organizations already have full schedules, volunteers balancing multiple responsibilities, and limited time to organize additional fundraising events.
We wanted to create something different.
Instead of requiring organizations to sell products, host major events, or manage complicated campaigns, we wanted the program to feel simple, practical, and sustainable.
The Lipps Electric Community Giveback Program was designed to create an ongoing fundraising opportunity tied to services families may already need throughout the year.
By connecting participating organizations with Lipps Electric for residential electrical services, a portion of qualifying work can go back toward supporting the organization.
The goal was never to create another complicated fundraiser. The goal was to create a community-focused partnership that could genuinely benefit local organizations in a realistic and manageable way.
Supporting the Communities That Support Us
As a Cincinnati electrician, our team works throughout communities including Mason, Loveland, Bridgetown, Delhi, Anderson Township, White Oak, West Chester, and many surrounding areas.
These are the same communities where our employees live, raise families, attend schools, volunteer, and participate in local events.
Because of that, community involvement has never felt separate from our business. It naturally goes hand-in-hand with who we are as a company.
We believe local businesses play an important role in strengthening communities. Supporting youth programs, local schools, nonprofits, and neighborhood organizations helps create stronger relationships and more connected communities overall.
That’s one of the reasons we were excited to support initiatives like Payton’s Lemonade Stand during Lemonade Day Cincinnati. Programs like these encourage leadership, creativity, confidence, and entrepreneurship among young people throughout the community.
Those opportunities matter, and we’re proud to support them whenever possible.
